A lash lift is a safe and easy way to temporarily curl or straighten lashes. This service lifts the lashes, adding a curl that lasts anywhere from 4-6 weeks. Lash lifts and tints are a fantastic option for everyone who is interested in dark, luscious and beautifully curled lashes with low maintenance and minimal commitment. Great for special occasions or to shorten your daily routine.

F.A.Q.

How long does a lash lift last?
A lash lift creates permanently curled lashes, but the results last 6-8 weeks. Why? In about 8 weeks, your curled adult lashes will grow old and fall out. New baby lashes will peak through and return back to your natural state.

Can I get my lashes wet?
For the first 24 hours, we recommend keeping them as dry as possible for best results. If you must get your lashes wet, use cold water to clean the eye area. After that, you can take hot showers, go to the sauna, and your lashes will be fine!

Can I wear mascara after getting a lash lift?
You can wear mascara and any make up 48 hours after getting a lash lift. By then, your lash lift shape is no longer malleable and will stay curled through water and heat.

Can I get lash extensions if I had a lash lift recently?
We recommend waiting 2-3 months after getting a lash lift or have a lash lift reversal before you get lash extensions. A grown out lash lift has less surface area for a lash extension to attach to and could cause lash extensions to not last as long.

How do I take care of my lashes?
Clean your lashes as usual and condition them daily with the castor oil vial that is provided for you. We recommend applying a small amount to the tips of your lashes once a day before you go to bed. This helps keep the lashes hydrated and smooth, so it will grow out nicely. Apply a lash serum along your lash line for longer and thicker lashes.

How often can I get my lashes re-lifted?
Most of our clients get their lashes re-lifted every 6-8 weeks. If your hair and nails grow fast, you may want a lash lift closer to the 6 week mark. Also, some months you may experience a shorter lash cycle due to pregnancy, postpartum hair loss, health conditions, menstrual cycle or fall/ spring hair sheds. In these cases, you can get your lashes re-lifted before 6 weeks.

Will a lash lift damage my lashes?
There are 2 ways to curl your lashes: physically and chemically. The physical approach is when you use a lash curler or heat to break the weak chemical bonds that make up the protein chains in your lashes. Physically curled lashes relax throughout the day and only last until your lashes get wet or come in contact with heat. Also, curling your lashes everyday with a lash curler can break the outer protective sheath of the lashes and make them prone to breakage and look thinner.

The chemical approach, such as a lash lift, alters the stronger chemical bonds (disulphide bonds) that make up your lashes and creates a permanent curl until the lashes fall off naturally. During a lash lift, a perm cream is used to break the disulfide bonds and allow keratin molecules to move freely and adjust to their new shape. Then a neutralizing cream is added to reverse the effect of the perm cream. New disulfide bonds form and the keratin molecules are locked into place with a new curled shape. The curl lasts for 6-8 weeks and this process is a healthier alternative for your lashes compared to clamping your lashes everyday with a lash curler.

To maintain healthy lashes after a lash lift, apply a lash serum and coat the tips of your lashes with a small amount of castor oil everyday.

I had a lash curler accident and cut off a section of my lashes, will a lash lift make my lashes look better?
A lash lift enhances what you naturally have. Unfortunately, if you have gaps or shorter lashes on one eye, the imperfections will be more noticeable. For example, if you notice that the lashes on your right eye are much shorter than the left eye, we recommend waiting for your lashes to grow for a few more weeks before getting a lash lift.

My lash lift looked great the first few weeks, but now it’s starting to look twisted and uneven.
As new lashes grow out of your eyelid, the curled parts of your lash lift get pushed out further. It’s the same concept as when you apply nail polish and watch it grow out in a few weeks. The exact same process happens with your lashes. Your lashes are constantly growing and shedding. Be sure to brush your lashes with a lash brush and use castor oil on your lashes everyday (it really works!). Use a lash serum to extend your lash cycle and schedule a lash lift every 6-8 weeks.

I’ve had a bad lash lift from another place, can you fix it?
If you had a bad lash lift recently, it is best to reach out to the lash studio that gave you the service. This is because they're familiar with the products and techniques they used on you and should know how to reverse or fix your lash lift. If you want to try a new place for a lash lift, it's recommended to wait 6 - 8 weeks after getting your lash lift so your lashes can rest and grow out.

I am pregnant, can I get a lash lift?
Please consult your doctor if it is safe for you to get a lash lift and lay on your back or side for over an hour. Experts do not recommend pregnant women to lay on their backs during the second and third trimesters because the back position rests the entire weight of the growing uterus and baby on your intestines and vena cava (the main vein that carries blood back to the heart from your lower body).

Eyebrow Lamination, Brow Sculpt, is a service that involves applying a chemical solution to straighten and lift brow hairs. A solution breaks down the bonds in each strand, allowing your provider to move them in any direction to achieve your perfect brow shape. Brow lamination is basically a perm for your brows, as it gives them a set, uniform shape for up to 6 weeks.

F.A.Q.

How long do laminated brows last?
The brushed up effect of Brow Lamination lasts about 4 to 6 weeks. To enjoy the lifted effect for weeks, the eyebrows must be combed in the desired direction every morning.

Can I get my laminated brows wet?
You should avoid getting your brows wet for the first 24 hours after your treatment. Coming into contact with water could interfere with the lamination process and impact the longevity of your treatment. Avoid swimming pools and baths for 24 hours and be extra careful in the shower and when washing your face (avoiding if possible).

Can I wear makeup after brow lamination?
We recommend that you avoid applying any heavy make up around the brow (such as foundation or concealer) for 48 hours after. The hair follicles can remain open for a while after hair removal, so if you are prone to sensitivity or breakouts, you may find that heavy make up could clog the pores.

Can you combine Brow Lamination with Henna?
Although the two treatments are often combined, we don’t actually recommend it, as it forces the brow hairs to endure quite a lot and the result isn’t always the best. The outcome of a henna brow treatment is tight eyebrows, and brow lift the opposite with fluffy, upright brows; combining the two is too intense. The focus of brow lamination is on the hairs, but the effect is lost if using henna dye on the skin as well and you no longer see as much of the hairs. We recommend using a classic brow dye if you’d still like to have a darker brow.

Can I go on a sunbed after brow lamination?
After hair removal, the skin can be left sensitive and prone to irritation from heat. For this reason, you should avoid sunbeds for at least 48 hours after your brow lamination treatment.

Will brow lamination cause hair loss?
There is no long-term damage to the brow hairs when proper guidelines are followed. We use high quality products formulated to be gentle on the hair and skin.

It's a fantastic way to try out a shape before committing to semi-permanent makeup, or if you just want your eyebrows shaped and filled temporarily.  Henna brows are a type of tinting that stains the skin giving you tinted hairs for up to 4-5 weeks and a tint on the skin that can last anywhere from 7-10 days.

Henna has been around for thousands of years and has been used for hair dye, body art, and makeup. A lot of people associate henna with the colour red, but henna brows are specially formulated to give a more cool colour tone that is absolutely perfect for eyebrows.

F.A.Q.

Is it permanent?
No, it’s not. It is not a tattoo, it is not invasive, it does not hurt. It simply stains the skin and tints the hair.

How long do Henna Brows last?
Henna’s natural dye is far more effective than an average brow tint–you should be looking at 4-5 weeks worth of beautifully defined henna brows. Henna also will stain the skin for 7-10 days on average, as a little added extra.

Sometimes, the henna just doesn’t take well to certain people’s skin. Lifestyle also plays a big part in the longevity i.e. swimming, excessive sweating, using face products on the eye area etc. will all result in your henna brows fading faster than usual.

Is Henna Brows effective on grey/white hair?
Henna absorbs much faster and deeper into the hair follicles than a normal tint, so it’s a great choice for those with lighter or more mature hair. Henna Brows is a deep tint and can create a strong brow, so we would recommend patch testing or choosing a slightly lighter shade for the best possible result.

How do I get a longer-lasting skin stain with Henna Brows?
Your skin regenerates daily, so it is always difficult to say how long a henna skin stain is going to last on a certain skin type in the brow area as our skin varies from individual. Some clients have oily skin and some clients have dry skin and these conditions can affect the longevity of the skin stain and make the skin more resistant to staining.

We say skin stain results can last anywhere from 2 – 14 days on the skin, using darker colors will give a more powerful and long-lasting skin stain.

What is the difference between a brow tint and henna brow tattoo?
Henna is perfect for those who have slightly sparse eyebrows as it stains the skin to create a powder filled in look, it colors the hair too while traditional tint only color the hair, if tint get on the skin it only last a day or two at most.

Are henna tattoos safe?
Yes, they are completely safe for your skin and body. When applied to your skin, it may look like a real tattoo, but allergic reactions to PPD (an ingredient in the henna to help process faster and eliminate red tones) can cause an allegoric reaction. We recommend a patch test if you have skin sensitivities.

I have brushed the henna out and they are still too dark for my liking, is there anything that I can do?
Yes, absolutely, and this certainly does NOT involve scrubbing your skin off. If you want to fade your henna, use products like face cleansers and exfoliators.

Can you use henna on pregnant women?
We do not recommend henna for pregnant women. It has not been proven that henna is harmful to the baby, but as with normal hair colouring, it is not recommended during pregnancy. Hormonal balance changes during pregnancy, so the skin may be more sensitive or an allergy may occur, and an allergic reaction is particularly unpleasant during pregnancy! Make sure that after the pregnancy you do another patch test on the client to make sure she has not developed an allergy.

Tinting is the process of applying semi-permanent dye to enhance, shape, and define your brows or lashes.

F.A.Q.

How long does tinting last?
Professional tints usually last 4-6 weeks. The color will gradually fade, the rate at which it does can depend on your hair type, the type of beauty products you use, and how well you care for your brows.

Can I shower or wash my face after tinting?
Although it’s not a problem to get your newly tinted hairs wet after a treatment, you can try to avoid washing for at least 12 hours. You should also avoid excessive touching or rubbing for 24 hours to avoid irritation. Chlorine can also shorten the wear of your tint, so be wary if you’re a regular swimmer.

Can you get eyebrow tint when pregnant?
It is recommended that you avoid eyebrow and lash tints when pregnant, breastfeeding or undergoing IVF. Changes in hormones can leave you more prone to a reaction, so giving the tinting step a miss is best.

Is it good to brush my eyebrows?
We get it, brushing your freshly shaped brows with a spoolie brush is very satisfying but beware. Too much brushing can actually lift your tint and contribute to hairs falling out quicker than they should. That’s why it’s best to brush them into place and then apply a brow gel to set them all day long. Opting for a tinted brow gel also helps to add a slick of colour when you’re due your next tint appointment.

Do you offer patch tests?

A patch test (or allergy test) is a simple method of finding out if a client is allergic to any of our products. In principle, every client who hasn't done a treatment like this, for the first time, should undergo a patch test. It's also wise to repeat the test once a year, as sometimes a client can develop an allergy. We recommend performing a patch test again if a client has been pregnant or very ill (due to a change in their hormonal balance). To book a patch test please click HERE
Waxing is the process of hair removal, we use strip wax to effectively remove the hair from the root. CLICK HERE to Book a session to get smooth.

Benefits
Smooth and even skin
One of the best benefits of waxing is that your skin will feel smooth and even. When waxing, you not only remove unwanted hair—you also wax away any dry and dead skin cells in the process.

No cuts
With waxing, you aren’t at risk to any cuts or nicks that can leave you with scars from shaving.

Stubble free skin
Waxing removes unwanted hair completely, from its roots. Shaving, on the other hand, often results in stubbles, leaving your skin feeling rough and abrasive.

Irritation and allergies-free
There are minimal chemicals involved in the waxing process, so rarely does waxing cause any skin irritation or allergy.

Slow hair re-growth
After waxing, the regrowth of your hair is very slow, often taking 4 to 6 weeks. Many say that they have found their hair to be finer, after the regrowth.
